Sorry, I’ve been busy playing Portal on Ubuntu
Suddenly, I feel like becoming a CCNA.

Ok, Here’s the Plan…

I’ve been very busy for the last few days (no, not with portal) and haven’t had a chance to write something worthwhile in here. But I have been tossing around some ideas for future posts. Here’s what I think is in the works to be published soon:

  • A Look at Windows Vista Service Pack 1
  • A Look at Windows XP Service Pack 3
  • A Preview of Ubuntu Linux 8.04
    • Pulse Audio - What is it, how it’s gonna make your life easier and how you could go wild with it’s capabilities if you have a wireless network in your home.
  • Ubuntu HOWTO: Install Windows after installing Ubuntu using Gparted and Ubuntu Live CDs
  • Ubuntu HOWTO: Install Nautilus Scripts
  • A review of Firefox 3.
  • An update about the 700 Mhz bandwidth FCC auction.
  • An ambitious barebones review of the CCNA curriculum (what?!)

    Dave,

    Really enjoy your articles, thanks for sharing your knowledge. I particularly enjoyed the “6 things to do after you’ve installed Ubuntu” article. SO helpful on several levels. (I’m a blank beginner and don’t know sudo from a hole in the ground.)

    So many other articles are aimed at medium-to-expert so it’s hard to get started when you know nothing. Any “baby-steps” posts you’d like to write would be greatly appreciated.
